Drop off your unwanted electronic items for free recycling at three local Vancouver schools (Eric Hamber, Tupper or Killarney).  The schools will receive money & you will help keep more electronics from clogging the land fill.

 Participate in the 8th Annual South Hill Festival May 29th 12:00 – 4:00 pm.

Fraser street will be car-free and full of life as we celebrate our neighbourhood’s 100 year centennial.  There will be a historic theatre, climbing wall, bouncy castle, musical performers, street entertainment, classic cars, wacky bikes, street sports and more.  Make sure you mark this event on your calendar.  If you can volunteer to help, contact Susan (susanff@gmail.com).

DUKOT (Disappeared) Film Screening June 3rd to June 5th

This acclaimed human rights film is based on true stories of political abduction and torture in the Philippines.  The film’s producer, writer, lead actor and a Filipino-American survivor of abduction will be on hand after each screening for a Q & A with the audience.  Click here to read more about the film.
